Rides can be booked same-day on the SPOT Ride app or by phone. When using the app, you may request an on-demand (“Leave Now”) ride, schedule a “Leave At” ride if you will be ready to leave at a certain time, or schedule an “Arrive By” ride if you need to arrive at a certain time, such as for an appointment.
Service hours designate first pick-up and last drop-off times. The service day starts at 6:30 a.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m., meaning that 6:30 a.m. is the earliest pick-up, and all drop-offs must be completed by 9:30 p.m.
When booking, make sure to specify “Arrive by” when scheduling your trip. When selecting “Arrive by”, we recommend selecting a time 10-15 minutes (if possible) before the actual start time of your appointment in case there are unforeseen delays.
Depending on how you book, your pick-up time may change based on real-time traffic conditions, the pick-up or drop-off of other passengers, or other factors. Be prepared for your pick-up at least 5 minutes before your scheduled time.
If the time of your requested trip is within operating hours and within the service area, it is possible that the SPOT service is busy with other booked rides at the time you are requesting, or temporarily out of service. Please try submitting your booking request again in a few minutes, or call SPOT customer service at 503-907-7768. Also, please check the SPOT Ride app or the Ride Connection website in case there are any service disruptions.
SPOT is free for riders. There is no charge for fare.

Child seats are required by state law based on age and height. In Oregon:
A service animal, trained to assist with tasks, may accompany you in the vehicle. The animal must remain under your control. When booking a trip, please choose “Accessibility” from your ride options and add a service animal or pet. Pets must be in crates.
